Buddy Backpack – Harnett County

In our continued support of our local community, The BCA Foundation made a generous cash donation to the Harnett County BUDDY BACKPACKS program. Eleven schools participate in this program. Volunteers provide all the labor to make this happen.

Every weekend, this organization sends home backpacks containing food to at risk students. Over five hundred children per week are recipients. Most are also eligible for free or reduced meal plans throughout the week.

This is another way the BCA Foundation gives back to the community.
